what are you talking about?

1. That's Sweden
2. Swedish ISPs are making it more difficult for the rights holders to get user info.

NT, this is not ISPs fighting for pirate interests, this is ISPs fighting for their agenda to keep you on the internet so they can come back later and charge you for bandwidth usage.

Well, I'd prefer that the laws be amended to track user computers as well as the users, but I can't say I support them for standing up for their user's 'rights'.

You want the law that allows that to be amended... or you want that to be made legal?

I want them to be amended so that is legal.

Seriously, I don't have a problem with companies keeping track of my information, so long as they are keeping track of everybody and are only using that info to prosecute illegal acts.

there's some saying... "You can't have your cake and eat it too." It sort of applies to this situation.

In a perfect world, companies would use this information innocently. In a perfect world, communism is the best form of government. It just doesn't work that way in the world we live in.
