Okay, so my Rainbow Six Vegas 2, the best game ever, has a nice ring around its outer rim..

How do I fix that? I tried toothpaste, didn't work... Maybe wrong toothpaste?

Help please

erm... if the data is damaged you cant fix it. If its just a surface scratch go get some actual disc cleaner/repair stuff.

Let me go in detail..

It gets to the second 'Ad' for some company, and then it totally haults..

I don't know if the data is damaged, and I don't feel like going to a store..

the data could very well be damaged, which would mean the disc is basically useless.

Taking off a layer will only work for a minor surface scratch. It does this because you are making the protective film smooth again, keeping scratches from refracting the laser.

you could always rent the game, take the rented copy and swap it for your scratched one XD

So did I.

But the 360 rpm is still ridiculous. You cant expect a disc to last more than two years with that thing.

I've had my 360 for three years(I had one for a few months, then it got the rrod, and I had to exchange XD) and all of the I had from the beginning are still fine.

Some of the cases are missing, but the games themselves are intact.

If you know the mistakes of the past, you will not be doomed to repeat them in the future.
