Re: TCF D&D
Really? I thought I fixed that.Cheese wrote:Oops, I forgot about that. I'd have to register an account to check it out, but it sounds perfect!
But yes, unless I'm mistaken, you would have to create an account to make a character sheet.
I'll be there for pretty much the rest of the day. Once you've made an account, come to the CB and we can get started.

Re: TCF D&D
We're gonna play a 'softcore' version tomorrow night (for brits) by the way. It'll basically be very simple rules and character sheets to get everyone used to the whole roleplaying thing.
This is more for new folks like myself - so dont expect too much in the way of canon or battle mechanics or epic historical backstory. Think of it like practice for the real thing that wont affect the main game whatsoever (other than our own experience).
So yeah, I'm thinking... 5pmEST (10pm GMT unfortunately for folk like me).

Re: TCF D&D
yeah, but this is basically a 'get the feel of it' session, character attributes and such dont really matter for it.

Re: TCF D&D
I'll play for sure!
I have about 30 books in the the Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance universe, which are a part of DnD.
Edit* - On second thought, i doubt id have time for this. Maybe another time.

Re: TCF D&D
Viva la Forgotten Realms!
Also, once I get a starting gold, I'll have finished my character sheet.

Re: TCF D&D
If I am correct, travel between to area's, towns, etc. is measured through time, and any encounters along the way will put players in a battle in the middle of nowhere.
Are we going wait full travel times(some travel times could be days long) or take 1/2 or 1/3 travel times or something?

Yesterday we talked about doing the practice round on my forum to so as to avoid spamming this one; is that still the case? If so, should I make a new section for it?
