Yeah, pirates who can't play on the official servers.

Actually, I love singleplayer, but in the case of a CoD game, multiplayer is pretty damn important.

I get games for the campaign, and if they have multiplayer: Awesome

I don't have that many issues with the Campaign, hell I love 'All Ghilled up' and 'The Shot', my only complaint was 'No Fighting in the war Room' That missle room nearly drove me mad.

Unless it's a game like Left 4 Dead, or a multiplayer only game, Campaign is always the most important to me. Nothing beats an amazing single player experience, like that of Deadspace, or Halo CE. (or mass effect)

Man!
Games are made for multiplayer. No argument there.

Campaigns are for practice, if you are lagging out, You can't go online, or there is not enough people playing multilayer at that time.

The only people that can make a somewhat satisfying campaign are Valve with the Half Life (And Portal) series and L4D.

And If MW2 has a good Multiplayer then it will be an alround good game no matter what they do...

I hate the bit at the Ferris wheel with a passion. Cool in principle... but they should not only have one checkpoint for a five minute thing... also LET US PROGRESS AT OUR OWN PACE AND NOT HAVE SOME DAMN COUNTDOWN TIMER!!! I swear I hate them so.

That's a pain, but I watched a few videos that showed some little tricks you could do to keep you alive.

That missle room was unforgiveable.....I was trapped there for hours doing it over and over and over. You need to be incredibaley precise with your flashbangs or you won't make it through.

I do like the campiagn, but it still seems a bt of a waste of money If I'm never going to touch the multiplayer.

What about games like Deadspace, Mass Effect, or Bioshock? Those games do not have multiplayer. Are they not games?

Not every game can have multiplayer. With multiplayer games, people tend to become loyal to one particular title. You can't expect every game that come out to try and compete with the community of Halo or Call of Duty. It just isn't feasible for most developers.

I didn't mean one that said speed up - I like those. Adds tension. I meant the ones that say STOP HERE AND SHOOT ENDLESSLY RESPAWNING ENEMIES FOR A WHILE AND IF YOU DIE DO IT AGAIN FOR FIVE MORE MINUTES.

They're ok in theory - especially with user saves. I liken it to watching the same unskippable cutscene over and over before a difficult boss. You die, you just get more and more pissed off so it gets harder. Usually you could just get more desperate and make a mad shooting dash at the next checkpoint... but noooo...

Same reason I'm stuck on the stupid fish boss of GoW2 (that and I dont own that game any more). Easy in theory, you get to the third and final 'damage' bit - and you get nicked by the teeth. Boom dead. Screw you, player: here's a cutscene. In CoD? Boom. Here's four grenades at once and a dog. Oh? You got them all? Well now we made you run out of cover. Dead. Screw you, player. Here's what you've been doing for the last 40 mins again.

I have spent more time under that feckin feris wheel (well actually behind the bumber cars) than anywhere else.

Did I mention I didn't like that bit?

Remember the long, boring elevator rides in Halo 2 that were spectacularly easy until a shotgunner or swordie appeared once in a while and shot you in the back? Or you just got really bored and jumped off the side? The reason I think a bunch of people hate playing as the arbiter?

wtf?...

you are aware it was the ETA of the helicopter right? It was the secondary rally point AND they weren't ready....so 5 minutes is pretty good.

Maybe you just suck. It's not that hard to do the ferris wheel part. Just lay claymores, make sure you don't disturb the dogs in the pool, and chill behind the railing on the ferris wheel platform.

I know and I know. But there's a compromise between realism and good gameplay. Infinitely respawning enemies is a no in my book anyway. It's only on the hardest and second hardest difficulty I have trouble with, and only when I've failed a couple times because of random grenades does it get really stressful and therefore hard.
