It would matter, as it would be symbolic.

Anyways, don't make these guys out to be victims. They have openly called themselves pirates, and practically flaunted themselves in front of authorities, knowing that what they have done is wrong, but "technically" not presumably enough for a conviction under Swedish law.

They set up in the same office building as the Swedish anti-piracy organization, hacked into a national anti-piracy website and turned it into a site for "pirate interests." They make money off of giving people easy access to copyrighted material.

The courts finally got them. They've been asking for it for a long time.
