Medal of Honor: Warfighter
Details should come in the next few weeks.
A lot of people didn't like the first one, but I really enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure I'll get this if there isn't too much coming out next fall.

Re: Medal of Honor: Warfighter
people that didn't enjoy it are stupid. It's single player experience was the most authentic any FPS has provided in years.
They would be smart, I think, to just make a really good, long single player experience with no stand alone multiplayer, but maybe work something out with DICE for unlockables in BF3 (map, weapon, gametype camo, etc). Should be easy considering DICE did the first ones multiplayer.

I didn't play MoH when it came out but I wish I had. It sounds like it deserved a playthough.
Is the single player still worth playing now? I could always rent it from our inventory at the store.

Re: Medal of Honor: Warfighter
It's a great story, with many story events drawing close parallels from real SOF operations, including, most notably, Operation Red Wings (the book 'Lone Survivor' is about that operation) with Seal Team 12 (?)

From what I've read about this one, the Multiplayer is being made in-house by Danger Close this time, not DICE.

Re: Medal of Honor: Warfighter
I fairly enjoyed the first game. Multi-player was actually fairly fun. My main question at this point is if it will feature the same characters. I also hope they do not feel the need to make an over-the-top plot either.

These scans of OXM are large, so here's a link. It's the second set of images, the first set are too blurry.

The story of MoH was great the multiplayer was shit though.
That's my diagnosis.

Re: Medal of Honor: Warfighter
thats because it was a fringe section of DICE that wasn't working on BF3 that made the multiplayer

Re: Medal of Honor: Warfighter
Played the last one for a bit... felt like CoD and quickly got bored. I don't want a realistic shooter, I want a FUN shooter. I just don't have fun for very long when playing a CoD-ish shooter. Even Battlefield has been feeling dull for me, even though the scale and actual use of objectives and cooperation (to some extent) help prolong the enjoyment if only for a little while.
I guess I don't think that the games themselves are entertaining... they're just too common and I'm the type of gamer who can't just sit down with a single game and grind it - I need a large variety of games to have fun and I don't have the patience to sit through all of the modern-style shooters. Luckily, my brother still buys them all so I can at least get a taste of them before deciding against getting it for myself.

Re: Medal of Honor: Warfighter
I thought the story was nice, and realistic (unlike CoD). It's a really good realistic shooter. Just suffers from unbalanced multiplayer.
A FUN shooter is called Shadowrun.

Re: Medal of Honor: Warfighter
I was going to post the spongebob thing
and as for dwarf fortresss.... if I were to suddenly gain the insight of how to fucking play it well I would be playing it
until that happens through means of cosmic radiation, I'm not playing it.
