Well, I found it. The reason it wasn't so public was because it was an indie project.

Given that they're relying on two people to donate $10,000 dollars apiece, it's not likely to happen.
There's some other Halo shorts out there. Look into them.

Well... everything falls at the same rate... that being said the landing was too soft.

They fall at the same rate, but a drop pod at terminal velocity is still going to make a much greater crash than that. That was barely a twitch. Those things must have some serious shocks.
