Zombie War - Missions Empty Zombie War - Missions

Post by Cheese Sun Aug 16, 2009 12:24 pm

This is the section in which missions will be carried out. This can be anything from trading to gathering supplies to rescuing someone. It will be similar to the strategy section only here you will be performing actions instead of simply discussing them. I suggest you organise your actions in strategy before here to ensure what needs to be done gets done.

Your first mission (obviously), is to secure the building using whatever impromptu supplies you can. Fortifications will be edited later onto the map. For now it doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to keep the zombies out long enough for you to find something more stable.

The area is crawling with undead; but most seem to be preoccupied by the highway flood. The first zombies should arrive in around twenty minutes.

i have some Solar pannels to heat my pool, i could detatch those and use them as a way for electricity, and if some ppl are willing to give up there cars, we could use the car batterys, tires, seats...you know what, just drive it in to where we are staying and we will destroy it there...

Nate, cancel the pickup. I will drive there myself. I have two weeks canned food, five days water, a propane burner, three hunting rifles, and 400 .22 rimfire rounds. I can also repair or make weapons if need be.

Starting map now.

And Lax, unfortunately you really don't have time to grab the solar panels. You can already hear the screaming a few blocks away...

im sorry but we need electric...tim, get over here and cover me, i will grab the smallest peice of solar pannel, 1x3...im loading my magnum (25 shots), M9 (3 clips, 75 shots), and Glock-17 w/lazer (5 clips, 100 shots)...my Magnum is a collectable and is therefore un-reliable, i will use it as a last resort...

Solar panels realistically don't give too much energy unless you're running smaller ac/dc equipment.

To that note do any of you know how to run batteries? Do you even have any batteries to be connected to the solar power? Or how to hook it up?
How large of batteries are you taking?

Bicycle powered is more realistic with solar charging the back up batteries for smaller equipment.

Yeah but there's no way you could have properly dissconnected the solar panels in time. That would take yonks.

Thanks Tim. I'm trying to keep the game from being ridiculously easy here remember.

The solar panel won't be enough power. Do you even have batteries to store the power in? What we really need is a generator.

The roads are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too crowded for you to leave central Nottingham.

There is an Army reserve nearby but it's swamped with people and swarming with infected.

So? The car can't go. What I mean is you cannot physically carry 80kg of canned goods. Especially not over a fence.
