Re: Brink
while many of these reviews make some decent points, they seem to suck at getting the point across...
like the arsenal is underwhelming...when it has more weapons and options than call of duty
can they get people that like their shooters with personality to do reviews?

Re: Brink
I like Destructoids review. I don't agree with everything said of course, but he fully acknowledged the faults but can not express enough how much fun he is having with the game. Using the phrase, "utterly brilliant fun" in bold lettering.

I don't wanna give my detailed personal thoughts just yet, as I'm still kinda getting used to the game. But so far, I do like it.

Re: Brink
Something I've learned is to never compare review scores for games in different genres.... or with any Nintendo game for that matter.
Re: Brink
That's not a Nintendo game Civ. It's just on their console.
It's a Ubisoft game.

Re: Brink
Still from a different genera. I just felt it necessary to edit-in that tid-bit at the end.

I should have it tomorrow, though I won't be on at all until Monday night.

Genera? Do You mean genre? Then yes it is.CivBase wrote:Still from a different genera. I just felt it necessary to edit-in that tid-bit at the end.
I still don't think it was really necessary for that tid-bit though. Especially sence that isn't even Nintendo's game.
I hear it actually has a much better following on the PC. So that might be for the better, Although! You would lose some team players like me and Onyx and now apparently Carlos. But go for what ya want.CivBase wrote:I kinda wanna get it for the computer...

I know... I hate getting MP games for computer cuz nobody else will play them.... but I can't play xbox games when I got to college in just a couple of months... so I'm kinda at a loose-loose situation. You guys should all drop what you're doing and go buy expensive gaming computers so I have people to play Brink withDivine Virus wrote:I hear it actually has a much better following on the PC. Re: Brink
Meh, Nintendo FTW. or new console at E3 FTW...both.
So, I'll guess that you legitimately can't bring your Xbox with you like Bacon is doing. That sucks. But we both are planing to be getting some PC's. Bacon sooner and me later. It will most likely be for just SC2 but I'm sure that will change consider what's out there for it.

I've been trying to play and I can tell I would like it if the game wasn't so damn laggy. It's killing me.
