At first glance it might look like a game built for 10-year olds, but once you get past that and get to where you get to start building your own vehicles, it's really quite fun.

Thoughts?

Well, no.

In Spore, you get to create your own speices (sp) and take it through the stages of comunal and physical evolution.

In Nuts & Bolts, you get to design and drive/fly your own vehicles, using various parts and gadgets found around the games central location (Showdown Town) and won in challenges.

The challenges range from simple races (which can turn into not-so-simple races) to guard missions to combat racing to full on combat.

It's a pretty diverse game.

You should at least try the demo.

And then go buy the game Very Happy

Meh, I heard some pretty low reviews for it.

And besides that kind of platforming game is dead to me.

The last game I played like that was Crash: Twinsanity, and that raped my childhood.

...um, it's not a platforming game. It's a full on 3-D game.

Get the demo and you'll see what I mean.

Last time I checked, B&K WAS a platforming game. That's what the last two were.

I played it briefly in a shop, and I can't say I was impressed. Running around for hours trying to pick up parts, does not sound very appealing to me.

No, that part isn't very fun (or at least I can imagine it wouldn't for you guys; I find it rather enjoyable, don't ask me why).

It's after, once you've collected some parts that it gets fun. Because that's when you can build some really cool stuff.

The first time I played the demo, I wrote it off as some stupid racing game with a new twist.

But when I went back the second time, and actualy played it through, I found it to be quite enjoyable.
